Design Supply and Installation of a Sprinkler Irrigation System for Banana Plantation in Kalungi Tc, Kakooge Subcounty, Nakasongola Central Uganda 2022

The project was categorized into three phrases;
The initial phase was to conducting site visit, followed by consultancy works (system design and planning) and then implementation of the design.
Project synopsis: –
- Civil works involved in construction of a 5m high concrete tank stand to support a 10000L capacity tank.
- Plumbing works for uniform water distribution throughout the garden
- Trenching of the pipe transmission channels and backfilling
- Laying of the main pipes (50mm HDPE pipe were used
- Laying submain pipes (40mm HDPE pipes ,18pcs) were used) and it is from these that the 25mm upvc sprinkler raiser stands pipes (95 in number) were connected.
- Fixing of 0.5 inlet inches brass sprinklers (95 sprinklers) on the 25mm upvc pipe stands
- system testing and end user training (this included system use and maintenance)
- Handing over the project to the client
- 10,000L PE water tank
