The work aimed at providing easy and adequate water for the various crops grown on the 32-acre piece of land in Bbaale Kayunga district in central Uganda. Drought and the changing rain patterns were a big challenge tour client before we installed the system on his farm.
Project synopsis:
-The system installation involved initial field assessment, design, equipment, sizing, supply, installation and technical support to the farm management.
-Trenching and backfilling of the main and submain pipe channels.
-laying of the main pipes (2inch HDPE were used) and submains (50mm HDPE were used)
-Plumbing connections and the hydrant connector
-Installation and testing of a 65m head lift diesel engine(outlet/inlet:3inches)
-Installation of four XF rain guns (25m discharge radius) in the garden by connecting them on the different hydrants.
-Testing calibrating and technical training support to farm management
-System handover
